Now the payment system:

Not yet for payments without a driver but at least it can park by itself. Hyundai and Parkopedia partnered with Hyundai to launch Pay’s first service alongside the 2024 Hyundai Kona electric.

The service keeps personal details secure using tokenization, which replaces card account details with a unique digital identifier, or token. It enables drivers to view, book and retrieve past parking sessions, addressing the stress associated with parking searches.

Hyundai Pay’s first service focuses on parking payments, enabling US drivers to find, reserve as well as pay for parking at 6,000 locations from within their vehicle through the vehicle’s touchscreen and Blue Link connected car system. Initially available in the 2024 Hyundai Kona, Hyundai Pay will expand to nine other Hyundai models in the future.

It is currently available on select Hyundai models and also requires the MyHyundai mobile app and an active Bluelink subscription agreement. Parkopedia can be used across 90 countries. The company collects accurate location data globally, enabling it to match charger locations to its existing parking database of over 70 million spaces.
